Exhibitor/Competitor Set Up/Roll in Information

Roll in:
  • 6:00PM to 9:30PM Friday, July 24, 2009
  • 9:00AM to 11:00AM Saturday, July 25, 2009 (limited availability, please contact us prior to Saturday roll in)
  • Each vehicle is allowed 2 people during roll in
  • You will receive your passes on roll in day.
Roll out:
  • You will roll-out immediately after the awards presentation on July 5.  Everything including garbage and displays must be moved out by no later than 11:59 PM Saturday.

   
   
Entry/Setup Requirements:
  • taped or locking gas caps
  • 1/4 tank or less
  • please bring a drop cloth for your vehicle, this is required whether or not your vehicle has leaks
  • Absolutely no spraying of tire shine, tire shine can be applied to tire walls with a cloth/sponge.  No tire shine on treads.
  • Absolutely no duct tape or double sided tape on the show floor.  We will have approved tape available for your use.
 
Directions:

The entrance ramp is located on the west side of the Centre off Edmonton Street (one-way street traffic flow north) with access controlled by the Centre's security office.

   
General:

GENERAL RULES/REQUIREMENTS

Vehicles in the show venue may not be started during the event.  Failure to comply will result in disqualification without refund.  Competitors and show participants who fail to comply with rules and requirements will have their vehicles removed at the owner’s expense. 

RETURN TO VENUE

Vehicles inside the show venue cannot be moved until the end of the show.

ADMISSIBLE DISPLAYS

Displays that are of a disruptive, objectionable or inappropriate nature (as interpreted by show management) will be removed from the show.  This also applies if your vehicle or display is blocking isle traffic.  Show space is determined by show management. For venues that require special layouts, placement will be at the full discretion of show management staff.

 LATE ARRIVALS

If a member of your crew arrives late, does not caravan with you, and/or is not in line with you at the time of roll-in, they will not be placed with you (NO EXCEPTIONS). Participants arriving for set-up after their scheduled roll-in time may forfeit their show participation rights or be relocated to other areas specified by show management.  This decision is made solely at the discretion of show management staff.

ENTRY DURING ROLL-IN

Participants entering vehicles into the show will be allowed to bring one additional person at time of roll-in.  (Maximum of 2 persons per vehicle.)  All others will be asked to return to the show venue during times when gates are open to the public.

CANCELLATIONS AND CUTBACKS

All monies are non-refundable.

PROMOTION OR SALE OF MERCHANDISE

Unless you are an official Sponsor, there is no sale of merchandise or promoting permitted on the event venue grounds. No distribution of commercial products including cards, flyers, posters and the like will be permitted.

AMMENDMENTS

a) The show management shall have full power in the interpretation and enforcement of all terms, rules and regulations and any further stipulations considered necessary for the proper conduct of the show.

b) Participants agree to comply with all standards and rules set forth by judges and organizers of DRIVEN.

c) Participant's failure to comply with such terms, rules and regulations shall entitle V8less, to terminate it's obligations under this contract.

d) Participants agree to accept, under reasonable conditions, the final judgment and award of prizes of the judges of this event.

e) Participants agree to comply with all pertinent laws, codes and regulations of municipal or other authorities which affect the display space.

f) Pornographic material (or any material that is deemed to be unacceptable by show management personnel) that is in or around your vehicle will constitute grounds for automatic disqualification.
